There's a rainstorm
I'm running around trying to hide
In a place that will divide
All the sounds playing in my head
Because all this I've dread
There's a rainstorm
Sounds of the shattered glass
[There goes the shiny brass]
I can't stand this anymore.
Because my heart just tore.
There's a rainstorm
Bruises were history
Words I hear wishing it would be a mystery
But it's very enervating.
Because hopes are dangling on a string.
There's a rainstorm
Flashbacks are happening
Something similar happened during spring
Why can't it ever stop?
Because you want to end up top?
There's a rainstorm
Wishing everything would be the same
But no, there's no more burning flame
Resigning everything to fate
Oh right, and leave us in this state
There's a rainstorm
And it's happening inside
